Today the kids spent a good part of the morning doing the classroom puzzles. Puzzles are a wonderful fine motor activity for this age group. Hopefully the pictures help show the wonderful deductive reasoning skills being used. Twisting and turning the pieces to make them fit into their designated spot is difficult for little hands. Giving lots of encouragement when they get frustrated and helping them complete the task garners big smiles.
