This collage is of the children mixing colors and painting with tempera paint. The color mixing is "accidental" at first. It is funny to see the expressions on the children's faces when they realize that the paint they dipped their brush into is not the same color that shows up on the paper. It became an exciting experiment with lots of discussion about color mixing.
