We had a lot of fun on our pajama days. The children were all especially snuggly and cuddly! We have been singing Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear and dancing around with our stuffed friends. We will be having our "Teddy Bear Picnics" tomorrow and Thursday. On Friday we will make "porridge" (oatmeal)  for snack just like in  the Goldilocks and the Three Bears story we have been enjoying.

Most of the picture collages this time are of individual explorations of glue. We encouraged the children to squeeze the glue bottles, let the glue drip on their fingers and feel the stickiness as they spread it onto paper. Nearly all of the children enjoyed this part of the exploration. We then offered tiny bits of paper to sprinkle, pour, or pat onto the paper. The expressions on some of their little faces when they realized the paper was also sticking to their fingers was just priceless. Some of the children just had absolutely no desire to come anywhere near the glue. We will continue to offer different ways to experiment with this sticky new material. Sooner or later we will spark everyone's interest and I will be ready with the camera!
