Today We...
Introduced some new toys into the classroom. The kids enjoyed setting up the dollhouse for people AND zoo animals. It was fun to see so many children involved in the house at the same time. There were so many discoveries to be made, including Colin finding a tiny hairdryer attached to the bathroom sink and showing me (see the photo!)
Zachary and Trae got a kick out of playing with new puppets, and Lucy and Kambree took care of our babies. Deema and James used the new cubes to stack and build together. Almost everyone gets involved when we put out new toys and manipulative!
We also used jingle bells during group time. I introduced the bells, and we took turns using them in different ways. We made them make soft noises and loud noises. We shook them by our ears and by our toes. Preston and Rohan found this particularly funny. We ultimately played them and everyone sang Jingle Bells at the top of our voices. It was a lovely sound to behold :)
