Vacation Part 1

Breckenridge was a blast! We drove all the way from Wichita in one day (about 12 hours). Both Colin and Isaac did a great job on the ride.  There were a few times when the boys became restless and fussy, but we packed a lot of fun games and snacks to stay entertained. The boys also took nice long naps. Isaac had a great time pointing out big windmills in the Kansas prairie. He also had fun looking out for the mountain to appear.

We met Grandma, Grandpa, Parker, Madison, Aunt Amy, Uncle Rick, Aunt Ashley, and Uncle Cy there. (Aunt Ashley just found out she is pregnant, so there is a little Hund growing as we speak). We all stayed in a big house along the river. We stayed right in the middle of town and walked down the main street every morning. Isaac and Madison really enjoyed the hot tub. Poor Parker got sick with Hand, Foot and Mouth virus. Luckily the rest of us have already had it, but it made for rough trip for the Smiths.
